THE MAXIMUM ENERGY SAVING
1, THE SYSTEM OF ENERGY SAVING
According to the Project Research on the U.S.A. Motor System Energy Saving, the leakage amount of most compressed air systems is 20%~30%, but it shall be less than 10% under normal conditions.
E.g.: if a 30HP (22kw) air compressor operates 7,500 hours yearly with an average electric charge of RMB 0.8/kwh, the extra loss caused by leakage is RMB26,400 yearly. 22kw × 20% × 7,500hr/year × RMB0.8/kwh =MB26,400/year.
EU's experience in promoting the energy saving of compressed air system shows that there is a space for most factories to improve. As for the improvement measures,50% of them are to improve the leakage situation, 10% to decrease the pressure, 30% for system control, air production equipment and heat recovery with each accounting 10%, and the rest for other individual improvement measures.Therefore, it shows that there is a small space for the air compressor to improve its energy saving in the aspect of realization of energy saving of the compressed air system, except there is a greater technological change (taking a long time) on the whole system, and nearly 70% improvements depend the optimization of the piping of compressed air.
2,ENERGY SAVING OF AIR COMPRESSOR EQUIPMENT
Before deciding the type and dimensions of the air compressor, it is a must to confirm firstly: system air consumption amount, quality of compressed air and working pressure, and collect the corresponding statistic data, calculate the actual demand for the compressed air in a short-term and increased demand amount of the future capacity expansion and consider 10%-20% surplus.After completing the above evaluation, reference the cabinet parameters provided by the air compressor manufacturer to allocate corresponding cabinet reasonably.
3,ENERGY SAVING OF COMPRESSED AIR PIPING
The clean compressed air produced from the compressed air station must be conveyed from the piping to pneumatic equipment on site. If the design and installation of the piping is not qualified, the following problems will occur:
1. Increased pressure-drop and insufficient air flow
2. Air re-pollution
3. Not able to discharge condensation water
4. Undesirable use of pneumatic equipment and unstable product quality
5. Difficult to maintain and overhaul
4,ENERGY SAVING OFACCESSORIES
In the compressed air piping, there are two devices which will greatly influence the compressed air transporting efficiency, namely the filter which will cause the pressure-drop to raise obviously, the quick coupling that will cause the pressuredrop to rise obviously and a large amount of leakage.
A common filter filters air through a fine screen mesh. And because of this structure, the screen mesh will surely be blocked due to a long time use and the local resistance of air passing will increase, which directly cause the pressure-drop to rise dramatically when the air passing through it. To handle with this issue, attentions shall be paid on the installation of all types of filters inside the pipeline at the very beginning. The unnecessary filters shall not be installed but the necessary filters cartridge must be cleaned or changed regularly. An excellent filter cartridge will surely provide air with idea quality and reduce the comprehensive cost of use and maintenance.
The quick coupling with one-way valve will cause pressure-drop in the compressed air piping. As the fluid passes through the internal valve, the internal valve is like the stone in the river which will cause "instability" in the fluid and then cause the loss of the pressure intensity. So, the design, materials and precision of the valve assembly are the basic standards to judge the pressure drop level of the quick coupling, and the wear resistant function and sealing function of the adapter and bell end material are also related to the leakage level of the fluid and the service life of the coupling etc.

DELICATE DESIGN
1,loop pipe netwprk design
The problems such as the pressure-drop increased, flow insufficient, condensation water being fail to be discharged, difficult maintenance and repair are mainly caused by unsuitable design of piping or insufficient pipe diameter and too fast flow speed and cause the pressure drop to increase due to the factory expansion.To alleviate the drawbacks of the single line piping, if the site space allows, the loop line piping shall be adopted as much as possible. When the compressed air consumption suddenly increases in this way, the compressed air can be fast supplied from two directions to the minimum degree pressure-drop. So, this piping type is suitable for obtaining the relatively stable supply of compressed air (stable pressure and airflow). The installation position of the air compressor will expand piping type into: a loop piping with single supply terminal, or a loop piping with multi supply terminals.
2,PIECEWISE CONTROL DESIGN

3,Low water system design
When designing and laying the pipe, the main pipe must form a slight incline to ensure that the condensation water in compressed air pipe can be discharged smoothly; the angle is about 1~2%. Draining devices shall be installed at the lowest point of each main pipe.
4, AIR/WATER SEPARATION DESIGN
The main pipe and branch pipe are connected via crooked swan neck pipe to prevent the fluid water or oil in the main pipe from flowing into the supply terminal of compressed air which will affect the service life of the equipment and tools.The swan neck pipe can prevent the fluid water or oil from flowing into the supply terminal of compressed air.

PVR COMPRESSED AIR PIPING
PVR piping is produced from a compound of innovative Poly Vinyl Reinforced. The PVR pipe has a big tensile strength, up to 69.0Mpa at 20°C. Its strength decreases as the loading time, but the decreasing rate is smaller and smaller as the time increases, and it stops to decrease after about 1000 hours. Being about half of the instant tensile strength, its long-term strength of tension is the strength of PVR piping for long time or persistent strength. It is the criterion for general design for PVR piping.

PVR RELIABILITY OF FONTER PVR PIPE
Corrosion resistance

FONTER PVR pipe possesses stable chemical properties and good chemical corrosion resistance abilities; therefore, the fluid is kept from the secondary pollution if through PVR pipe. This is what other metal pipes (including stainless steel pipe) can't catch up with.

The raw materials of PVR pipe can be obtained from extensive areas and the pip can be installed easily. Compared with general pipes, it possesses promine performance without expensive comprehensive cost.
Low pressure-drop
The pressure-drop of the compressed air during the conveying is very low, as the inner wall of PVR pipe is very smooth and the roughness values of the inner walls of the pipe and pipe fittings are very low; therefore, it is the ideal pipe for middle and long distance conveyance. (Compared with PVR, the average roughness value of PP-R pipe inner wall is two times higher, and the average roughness of seamless steel pipe and galvanized steel pipe inner walls is several dozen times higher, the roughness of the inner wall will increase with the corrosion which will be increased by 5 -10 times after 1 or 2 years).
Long service life
As the non-inflammable material, PVR pipe does not spread flames.
The fire rating grade is in line with GB 8624-2006 B f1 level (equals to Standard UL94,
level V-1).
Working environment -20°C -60°C (No direct sunshine), it is easy to become aging and degrade if under ultraviolet irradiation for a long time. It can be used for 30 -50 years under indoor environment
